About Joanna
Joanna has a Master Degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Registered Social Worker (RSW). She has been counselling individuals, families and children, as well as facilitating groups, since 1995.
Joanna uses an eclectic approach that is tailored to the needs and personality of clients.
Some therapies Joanna draws on are: Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Sessions are either virtual or in person at Bloor/Spadina. The office is a few steps from Spadina subway station and accessible parking can be found next door.
Joanna is also the parent of three teenage/young adult children who enjoys gardening, yoga, live music, scuba diving and travelling.
